Expectations: Everyone is expected to come to class and on time. Assignments are given when we meet and are due by their deadlines. Late hw is penalized. The last hw will not be accepted late.
Emergencys: a sudden, urgent, usually unexpected occurrence or occasion requiring immediate action. Emergencies do not happen everyday; if you have a special circumstance, do not hesitate and contact me immediately via email, class, or letter by leaving a letter in my mailbox in the Mathematics Department.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE SEMESTER TO APPROACH ME. LACK OF PLANNING ON YOUR PART DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN EMERGENCY ON MY PART.
HAVING NO PLAN IS A PLAN TO FAIL.
Grading:
60% = 4 to 6 HWs
Late hws are not accepted. You will have to do a writing assignment and the highest grade possible is half of your regular hw assignment.

10% = 5% Class participation and 5% Attendance (If your not here then you cannot participate). Lateness gets deducted.
